Pastor Methuselah E. Dixon was born and raised in the West African country of Liberia. He was raised as a traditional Pentecostal, but an extra-ordinary experience with a Baptist Church gave him a sense of purpose to accept the gospel and preach Christ. Pastor Dixon is a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is married to his beautiful wife, Ayana Dixon, and they are blessed with five children. He is the founder and Pastor of Agape Global Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina; a multiracial, non-denominational church which promotes unconditional love, unity, reconciliation and redemption. He has shepherded Agape since its inception in 2004. Agape also has ministry branches in Liberia. Pastor Dixon’s wish is to see diversity and inclusiveness in the body of Christ. He is also the President of the Liberian Pastors Alliance of Charlotte.
Pastor Dixon has served in various capacities in corporate America. He is a businessman. He is the President and CEO of Emerald Home Care Agency, LLC. Pastor Dixon graduated from UNC Charlotte with two Bachelor’s degrees; one in Religious Studies and one in International Studies. He earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Liberty University and is a Doctoral Candidate at Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary. Pastor Dixon is a dedicated and committed member of the body of Christ and the community at large. He serves as a mentor, counselor and leader to many, and is sought after for his wise counsel and his ability to keep others’ personal matters private. He is a man of discretion and integrity who strongly believes in servant leadership.
Pastor Dixon’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”
Pastor Ayana M. Dixon was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where she resided until the age of 18. She then relocated to Washington, DC to earn a B.A. degree from Howard University in 1996. Ayana accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized on January 4, 1981. She rededicated her life to Christ in October 1998, and since that time has been on fire for the Lord.
She answered the call to ministry in September 2001, was licensed in May 2003 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Herndon, Virginia. She was ordained at Mount Pleasant on June 25, 2006. Pastor Ayana graduated from Liberty University where she earned a Masters of Divinity degree. Pastor Ayana was a CMS public school teacher for six years and is currently the owner and Lead Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Charlotte – Mint Hill. Pastor Ayana is also the founder of The Circle 31 International Women’s Ministry and host of the Circle 31 Podcast. Pastor Ayana and Methuselah have five children. Pastor Ayana enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
